Hummelstown Fuel Oil Service, Inc. Texting Program
1. Hummelstown Fuel Oil Service has begun a texting program to keep our customers better informed about their account and your ongoing services from our company. If enrolled in our texting program we will send texts under the following circumstances: Service appointment reminder, service technician is in transit to your property, service technician has completed work at your location, a fuel oil delivery has been completed at your location, an oil delivery ticket has been created for your location (will call customers only), a fuel oil driver is in route to your home (call ahead deliveries only), a payment has been posted to your account, a new invoice has been created for your account, an automatic payment for your account has failed, you have an invoice that is 30, 60, 90 or 120 past due (whichever is applicable) and your budget payment is 2 or 3 months past due (for budget customers only and whichever option applies).
2. You can cancel the entire SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, please call our office at 717-566-0422 to re-enroll and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. Instead of opting out of the entire texting program, you may opt out of specific text messages by calling our office at 717-566-0422 or emailing us at office@hummelstownfuel.com and informing us of the specific text messages you do not want to receive.
4. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at office@hummelstownfuel.com or by calling our office at 717-566-0422.
5. Carriers and Hummelstown Fuel Oil Service, Inc. are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive the above messages from us when they apply to your account. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

8. Indemnification to Us: You agree to indemnify Us for any privacy, tort or other claims, including claims under the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act or any state law equivalents, including claims relating to your voluntary provision of a telephone number that is not owned by you and/or your failure to notify us of any changes in your mobile telephone number. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from and against any and all such claims, losses, liability, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees).
9. Participation Requirements: By participating in the Service, you acknowledge and agree that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older. You must have a wireless device of your own, capable of two-way messaging, be using a participating wireless carrier, and be a wireless service subscriber with text messaging service. Not all cellular phone providers carry the necessary service to participate. Check your phone capabilities for specific text messaging instructions.
10. Miscellaneous: You warrant and represent to Us that you have all necessary rights, power, and authority to agree to these Terms and perform your obligations hereunder, and nothing contained in this Agreement or in the performance of such obligations will place you in breach of any other contract or obligation. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. We reserve the right to change this Agreement from time to time. Any updates to this Agreement shall be found here. You acknowledge your responsibility to review this Agreement from time to time and to be aware of any such changes. By continuing to participate in the Service after any such changes, you accept this Agreement, as modified.
